We are very pleased that after many requests(!) we are SUPER chuffed to announce that we will now be offering Creative Workshops from February 2015 based in locations across South Yorkshire (God's own Country).
The workshops will be held throughout the year and places are limited to a maximum of 6.

So... what is up-cycling? Well, it is THE most wonderful way of revamping and breathing new life into furniture! At this Workshop, find out how you can learn to distress your furniture to give it a vintage-chic finish or an aged rustic patina.
You will learn how to:

prepare your piece of furniture
-
apply your paint so as to optimise the distressing process
-
distress your piece to a realistic patina
-
ta daaaaa... and you're done! Well done you!!
Materials needed:
-
a small wooden piece of furniture, preferably with some pretty detail to the wood
-
a fabulous *colour of matt emulsion; no need for fancy paints, an own-brand is perfect!

paintbrush, 5 - 10cm wide depending on size of furniture
-
vintage-chic painting clobber
*paint options: 2 colours, one as undercoat (which will show through when you distress) & your chosen colour as top coat OR 1 colour matt emulsion & wood shows through

Our location for our workshops is the beautiful village of Woodsetts, Yorkshire;
long-haired Jack Russell also home of the resident BIIIG cat George & littl'un Phoebe, plus Bertie the
& Ava the pup
