"Ma's Laces" Back in Print

Due to high demand, the Brooksbanks have had more of "Ma's Laces" printed. My brother, Richard Brooksbank, who lives in Johannesburg, has been giving talks about the laces to Lace Guilds. Most recently was Saturday 17th October 2015 in Pretoria! I was amazed to get contact from a member of the Bobbin Lace Market Facebook Group in response to my post about the book, saying she was a member of the Pretoria Lace Guild and that she had attended the talk that morning. It is so overwhelming all the comments and support we are getting, so thank you! I wonder if Bonmama ever imagined there would be such an international interest in her work.

We have had a lot of requests for talks about the laces here in the UK, so my dad and I are hoping to get some talks organised soon.
